We are excited to announce that “The Business LockerRoom” live radio show will debut on voiceamerica.com on Monday, April 7, 2014. The show will air weekly on Mondays at 3:00 CST.
The show name – the business LOCKERROOM – is intended to imply the relevant comparisons between business and sports. First, the primary idea is that business, like sports, is a competition. There are winners and losers. We keep score. So, it is always in your best interest to play the game (to do business) to win.
Second, in sports the locker room is where players gather before the game, after the game, and at half-time to prepare, review, and adjust as necessary. In fact, coaches will often say that the most significant impact on a team’s performance is made at halftime when critical adjustments are made to the game plan. And most business leaders understand that adjustments to business plans are critical to creating and sustaining performance gains.
The Business LockerRoom is designed to create meaningful content that listeners can use to improve performance in their businesses; to create more wins. Whether you’re in sales or marketing, or you’re a manager, executive, business owner, or entrepreneur, this show will create the kinds of conversations that you will find useful and entertaining.
Guests will include top sales and marketing professionals, business authors, business owners, executives, writers and bloggers from top business magazines and websites, and much, much more.
Join us live, or download each show from iTunes or this site. I look forward to hearing from you!
